Mt Kalbaryo (600++ MASL)
Madilay-dilay, Tanay, Rizal
Minor Climb / 2Hrs to Summit

We arrive at Brgy. Madilay-dilay around 4:30 am, medjo malakas ang hangin na may kasamang ambon, our rented trike from Tanay market drop us near the barangat hall, and guess what walang tao sa barangay, good thing may data signal our friend Ms. Izza search contact person through Facebook.

We start our trek arround 5:45 am, the rain stopped but the trail is so maputek!

First part of the trail

Chill na chill lang siya

We crossed several small rivers, good thing to rest and wash our sandals from muddy trail. The trail was easy challenge lang kapag kaka-ulan, alam na..

Most of the trail to summit

At some part of the trail ascending my girl notice my background, and napa wow kame, di lang kuha yung ganda ng view behind, but it simply good.

And after almost 2hrs ascending, I think nasa summit na kame because open na yung right side and its all white.

First sea of fog niya this year :D :D :D

And tada.. summit!!! Walang clearing sea of fog.

Summit

We stayed there about an hour, kumain, chikahan, pinag usapan si Ms Helen,

Dahil sobra lamig na at continues ang rain shower at malakas na hangin at wala kame rain shield ng partner ko we decided na to descend dahil mukhang wala naman balak umalis si sea of fog.

Trail descending

After 1hr na descending we reach a batis and leads to the Dambuhala Falls. Konting river trekking to reach the falls. Hindi lang siya pwede puntahan ng malapitan because its too deep na.

Si Ate Guide

Konting photo ops lang, tuloy ang lakad pababa hanggang sa makarating na sa highway.

On the way sa lomihan :)

And the reward of this chillin' hike...

Sa halagang 25 pesos may legit na lomi kana with homemade kikiam.

Features:
- Back to basic, new experience, tamang exploration climb hindi stablish ang trail, crowded no as in kame lang. Saya!

- Unli river crossing at may pang finale na 2 layer falls.

- Sarap sa summit madaming upuan at mapuno perfect to relax and have a lunch in front of scenic views (kaso dahil parang may bagyo sa summit samin, sobra lamegg)

- All in all it was a good good experience, solo namin take your time, mapuno yun trail so hindi ka mabibilad sa araw, chill climb at ang reward mo sa end ng trail is super sarap na lomihan w/homemade kikiam!

Tip:
Don't go to early to avoid the sea of fog, you can start trek 7-8am.
Proper hiking wear to protect your skin from Ratan and Lipa.
